We start here…

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”

Taking my first step into the blogging world. Before we go any further allow me to introduce myself. Hi my name (first) is Joshua as you may have deuced by the name of this blog I go by Lymphedema Dude Joshua at lease online i do. I can be found on most social sites by this name free to find and connect with me on them.
So now a little about myself as of writtong this (6/17/19) I’m a 39 year old male who lives with two chronic illnesses. The first which i was born with is Noonan syndrome. Simplest explanation of it is a common genetic disorder that causes multiple congenital abnormalities and a large number of potential health conditions. Second which i developed later as an adult is Lymphedema. Which is a common chronic, debilitating condition in which excess fluid called lymph collects in tissues and causes swelling in them.

Why start a blog even though I’ve been on social media sites for sometime.They don’t seem as personal as a blog. Unlike social media where you only get snippets of ones life.I feel I can more fully convey the story of my life as I live with chronic illnesses. Because I wish that I had someone like me that I could’ve identified with when I was first started out on this journey.I hope this blog will be a blessing for those who are chronically ill and maybe even help to inform those who are not.
